This ranking is based on a survey by our local media project “Sumi2,”
created by the same team that runs “Tako no Ma,” to share the warmth and everyday charm of Sumiyoshi.

Parine is a beloved bakery among locals, securing the top spot in our ranking. Known for its homemade red bean paste and cream, it offers a wide variety of breads, including sweet buns, savory breads, baguettes, croissants, and various types of loaf bread.
🥈 2nd Place: Organic Bakery Soleil
Soleil is renowned for using organic and pesticide-free ingredients. Customers appreciate the healthy and delicious breads, with the country-style bread being a favorite. The bakery’s retro atmosphere matches its commitment to wholesome baking. It was also selected as one of Tabelog’s Top 100 Bakeries in 2022.
🥉 3rd Place: Bakery Kokoro
Located near Nagai Station, Bakery Kokoro is a small neighborhood bakery known for its high-quality and stylish breads. Favorites include the mentaiko French bread, epi, and the moist “Yudane Shokupan” and sweeter “Kokoro Shokupan.”

Situated on the south side of Nagai Park, Takashima is a bakery cherished by the local community. Known for its chocolate cornet and fruit danishes, it offers a warm and inviting atmosphere.
